You need to know that the email marketing system consists mainly of two things. It consists of a sending engine, a sending server, the SMTP server, and we have the email marketing management application where you can measure email lists, where you can measure campaigns, monitor reports and so on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We combine both to have a full email marketing system. I think the idea is super easy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And what you have to know is that when you want to build this email marketing system, mainly we have three options, and you need to choose one of these options according to your business, to your type as a marketer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We\u2019ll talk about this in a little bit. So now, please concentrate with me, it\u2019s very important to understand different email marketing systems. So, we said we have an SMTP service and an email marketing application. when we combine them we have an email marketing system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now the first option is to go with an email marketing company like <a href=\"https:\/\/mailchimp.com\/\">Mailchimp<\/a>, Aweber, Get response and so on. These companies will make things really super easy for you. In one platform, you can add your campaigns, you add your emails, and start sending emails. Everything is programmed and combined in one platform. Super simple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The second option is that you can install and use your own email marketing application but you would need to subscribe to an SMTP service, which is the second part of the email marketing system. So, you get an SMTP service like <a href=\"https:\/\/aws.amazon.com\/\">Amazon AWS<\/a>, like <a href=\"https:\/\/sendgrid.com\/go\/email-smtp-service-signup-sales-1\">SendGrid<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mailgun.com\/products\/send\/smtp\/\">Mailgun<\/a> and so on. then you combine it with your own <a href=\"https:\/\/codecanyon.net\/search\/email%20marketing\">email marketing application<\/a> and you use this service to send your emails. Very nice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, there\u2019s a third option, which is to build everything from scratch. You have your own email marketing application and you have your own SMTP server, so you need to build everything. Now you may tell me, why do I want to bother my head with building everything, I just go with a company and do everything from that company. So, first thing is that you have to know yourself, in which place you are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are you a bulk mailer or you are that person who has an online business, collects emails, build lists and sends promotional emails? So, choose your type and let\u2019s follow up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s start with the first type<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Bulk Mailers. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Simply, if you are a bulk mailer, you can\u2019t use a company. You can\u2019t use email marketing companies like Mailchimp, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aweber.com\/\">Aweber<\/a> and so on. You will get blacklisted. I\u2019ve tested this a lot; I\u2019ve done a lot of research and I got a lot of feedback about this. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can\u2019t send bulk emails using an email marketing company, you will get blacklisted. So don\u2019t waste your time and bother your head with email marketing companies. You need to go with your own email marketing system using an SMTP service or building everything from scratch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And what\u2019s better is to build everything from scratch, you need to have your own system, everything with full control so that you can control your reputation, your sending score and everything else. Because even if you are using free SMTP like Amazon AWS, or SendGrid these companies can detect any bulk mailer and can block you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, the best option is to build your own email marketing system, your own SMTP and your own application. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Normal Email Marketers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyway, now we have a second type which is the normal email marketers, those people who have websites, collect emails, have something to promote their own services and so on. Go and select Mailchimp, Aweber, or any company and start with their free plan and test everything. See how things work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, what if you have a big subscriber base like maybe 10,000 leads or maybe 20,000 customers or clients or contact? If you go with MailChimp for example; If you click on calculate your price and you go and select like 15 or 25 thousand contacts, you will see that it will cost you around 200 dollars per month and this price may not fit anyone of you. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, it may be somehow high for some new starters or maybe those who don\u2019t have that big online business and so on. So, if that is your case, if you can\u2019t handle email marketing company prices, I advise you to go with a premium SMTP service like Amazon AWS with your own email marketing application like <a href=\"https:\/\/codecanyon.net\/item\/mailwizz-email-marketing-application\/6122150\">MailWizz<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You combine and build a system in like only one day or two days, you can start sending emails and pay as you go. You can send up to 100,000 emails for only ten dollars on Amazon AWS. It\u2019s really awesome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, this is your first choice if you have a big contact list and you don\u2019t have that budget, just select a premium SMTP service with an email marketing application. So, build, if you want a semi-email marketing system. Or you can choose to build your own SMTP also if you have the time and the effort and patience to learn and set up and run up your SMTP service. I recommend starting with Amazon AWS, it&#8217;s super easy, super powerful and super cheap. If you have that small budget, you can go and start with MailChimp or you can start with the free plan, not only Mailchimp, I mean every email marketing company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, this is how things work. By the way, if you have a big online business and you have like 20,000 contacts and customers or maybe followers, usually this big number must give you a high revenue monthly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, 200 dollars or maybe 500 dollars in will not be that big deal, but in some cases, you have a big follower base like in my case, I have a lot of followers, on my email list but I don\u2019t always send promotional emails. I don\u2019t use email marketing always to sell my services. No, all my emails are almost updates, newsletters, maybe notifications, maybe articles and posts and so on. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, I\u2019m not getting revenue, I\u2019m only getting traffic or maybe keeping my followers engaged with my website. So Mailchimp will be costly for me in my case, or in your case if you are thinking the same way. So also, I prefer in this case, to go with your own system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let\u2019s sum it up again. If you are a bulk mailer, you can\u2019t use a company, just go and build your own system. If you are a normal email marketer, if you have the budget, go and select a company. If you don\u2019t have the budget, so go and build your own system. Very easy, very simple, I think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Or you may have a question, Maybe I have a budget, or I want to start with a free email marketing company plan, which company do I need to choose? Anyway now after I did a lot of research and testing about these companies, the pricing is almost the same. Especially if you start with 5,000 or 15,000 contacts, the pricing will be the same. Yes, what they differ in is some more features like AB Split tests, like maybe sales funnels and so on but all are simple to use, all have good support, the pricing is almost the same, and they have the main cold email marketing features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Yes, some are more popular like MailChimp. I use MailChimp also but it\u2019s up to you, you can test whatever company you want.
